Landon Donovan has swine flu. Donovan is unsure if he would play Saturday against the Seattle Sounders. Donovan said he felt sick when he was in Miami. His doctor confirmed he had the H1N1 swine flu virus. His team mates did not show signs of swine flu illness.

Donovan had played in Mexico City on Wednesday. On Sunday, he went to see his doctor as he felt ill. His physician took a swab from his nose and confirmed he had swine flu on Thursday.
