Lance Armstrong returns to cycling

Lance Armstrong, former cyclist champion, is rumored to be quitting retirement and competing for an eighth Tour de France title.

Lance Armstrong will celebrate his 37th birthday on Sept. 18. Armstrong is said to be joining Astana team and race in five road races. VeloNews said that Armstrong will be competing in Amgen Tour of California, Paris-Nice, the Tour de Georgia, the Dauphine-Libere and the Tour de France. Armstrong will not be expecting money from this competition in terms of salary. Vanity Fair will publish Lance Armstrong’s story about coming out of retirement later this month. Armstrong is a cancer survivor and fighter against doping allegations.
