LaKisha Jones, a contestant on American Idol season 6, is getting married to Larry Davis,a finance adviser based in Houston, Texas. LaKisha Jones said she was very excited for her wedding on Sunday, Oct 5.

LaKisha Jones’ daughter, Brionne, from a previous relationship, has been waiting to wear her flower girl dress. LaKisha Jones has invited a close circle of family and friends. Jones planned to walk down the aisle that is decorated with old fashioned Hollywood glamour. The decorations will use black and white things. LaKisha Jones has invited her former contestants from American Idol 6. Some of the are Sanjaya Malakar, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Haley Scarnato.

Lakisha Jones is pregnant with her first child with her husband Larry Davis. This will be Jones’ second child but her first with her husband Larry. Jones’ daughter, Brionne,6, from a previous relationship, is getting along famously with her stepdad.

Lakisha Jones said although she did not win American Idol during her competition stint, she was a winner as she was enabled to provide a beter life for herself and her daughter.
