Lakhmani Devi, of India, had a facial tumor removed. Devi’s tumor was as large as a football. Devi had the tumor for 25 years.

Devi had her parotid tumor gland tumor, weighing almost 2 kg, surgically removed. K.K.Handa, the surgeon, said it was the biggest tumor he had seen.

Devi is from Jharkhand. Devi, 67, is recovering in hospital after her surgery on Feb 4. Devi was uncomfortable, embarrassed and stopped going out in public. Devi’s son, Lallan Singh, said they were thankful to the doctors.
