Kyrstin Gemar, Afton Williamson, Ashley Neufeld: Gemar, Williamson, Neufield found dead

Updated November 3 evening – Kyrstin Gemar, Afton Williamson and Ashley Neufeld were found dead in their vehicle. The Jeep was pulled from a pond. The coroner is yet to determine the causes for the deaths.

The authorities have not released new information on why and how Kyrstin Gemar, Afton Williamson and Ashley Neufeld died.

Kyrstin Gemar, 22, of Grossmont, California; Afton Williamson, 20, of Lake Elsinore, California.; and Ashley Neufeld, 21, of Brandon, Manitoba in Canada, are all students of Dickinson State University in North Dakota. They are softball players for DSU who have gone missing.

Gemar, Williamson and Neufeld were traveling in a a white 1997 Jeep Cherokee with California plates when they went missing.

The young women called a friend and talked about water and there were hints that they could be in need of assistance. The authorities have not released the exact transcripts of the phone calls. The women called from Dickinson, ND. They were last heard from on Sunday night, November 1.

The two calls from the three women, Gemar, Williamson and Neufeld, were traced to a communications control tower in Dickinson. The areas around the tower were searched.

Police and authorities are still searching for the women.
