Kurtis DeWitt and his girlfriend, Megan Lillo, first gained national fame by a guest appearance on “Dr Phil”. DeWitt and Lillo’s topic of discussion was domestic abuse.

Megan Lillo had told Dr Phil on his show that DeWitt assaulted her, choked her and used a rock to hit her.

A different kind of abuse has reared its ugly head. DeWitt and Lillo were arrested on suspicion of robbing a pharmacy. DeWitt was accused of wearing a mask and hooded shirt to rob a Kaiser Wells Pharmacy of OxyContin.

The pharmacist gave him a few hundred of the painkillers. DeWitt fled in a getaway car driven by Lillo. DeWitt was caught when police checked his ankle monitor logs. DeWitt was required to wear the ankle bracelet for a previous crime he committed.

DeWitt was charged with aggravated robbery. Lillo was charged with conspiracy as she drove the getaway car.
