Kristy Lee Roshia, 35, was arrested and charged with threatening a member of the family of the US President. Roshia called up the Secret Service to say she wanted to kill Michelle Obama. Roshia was arrested on Tuesday in Hawaii and detained in custody.

Roshia called up the Secret Service in November to issue her threat. As early as 2004, Roshia was known to the Secret Service as she had a past history of sending poems, letters, photos to the Secret Service.

Roshia had traveled to Hawaii in September 2009. When Roshia was arrested on Tuesday, Dec 22, she was found less than 2 miles from the Obama residence. Roshia could have been waiting for the Obamas as they had mad eknown their plans to stay in Hawaii during the Christmas holidays.
