Kristen Stewart was in the Zathura movie cast (2005). Stewart played Lisa, the elder sister of two younger brothers. Stewart’s role was a minor one as she was frozen in mid action and confined to the bathroom. The Zathura cast is listed below.

I watched Zathura and it was quite a thrilling sci-fic. I sat down to watch Zathura with a pre-conceived idea that it was a children’s movie. Boy, was I wrong. Zathura had some pretty good lessons for life. I would recommend Zathura as a flick to show some good old fashioned family values.

Two boys stuck in the house with a reluctant babysitter in an elder sister is the typical scenario everyone has encountered. Kristen Stewart acted as the elder sister who was at an age where she was interested in teen pursuits and irritated at watching younger brothers. Stewart’s character Lisa was conveniently stashed away immobile when she was magically frozen in action. Lisa was wakened and returned to her natural state at the end of the movie.

Danny and Walter, two brothers, take out an old board game, Zathura, to play. Unknown to them, the Zathura board game controls the situation around them and was able to make the game into a reality. The siblings send their house into outer space when they start Zathura.

The dysfunctional sibling relationship took a turn for the better after they co-operated and shared their love. They united to fight for survival against the Zorgons, the space aliens. Danny and Walter had to finish the board game in order to win the path to their way home.

The house was eventually returned to Earth. After the journey, the siblings’ relationships are forever changed for the better as they discovered love and the true meaning of family.

Zathura was not an evil board game but an adventure to discover love and the need for love to survive.
