Koyie Hill plays for Chicago Cubs with re-attached hand
By Clarencia Cynrae on September 2nd, 2008Koyie Hill played for Chicago Cubs on Monday, Sept 1. Koyie Hill returned after 10 months on the bench when his thumb and three fingers were cut off in a table saw accident.
Specialists reattached his severed hand and Koyie Hill started learning how to throw and catch a baseball again. In an interview, Hill related how he worked with therapy to overcome his pain, muscle control and problems to be able to use his right hand again. Koyie Hill was elated to be able to play for Chicago Cubs again.
The Chicago Cubs were great. They bought a new contract for Koyie Hill on Monday.
