Kkottongnae Retreat Camp had a shooting. A gunman opened fire inside the Korean Christian retreat center. On Tuesday night, April 7, Kkottongnae had one dead and three wounded. Temecula, Riverside County, near Vail Lake.

The gunman is believed to be among the three wounded. It seemed the gunman shot his wife and two others.

Kkottongnae Retreat Center is one of the 4 branches of Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus. This Catholic organization dedicated itself to serving the homeless and poor. The Kkottongnae movement started in 1976. Father Oh Woonh Jin, a Catholic priest, started Kkottongnae in Cheongju, South Korea.

There was little information as police struggled with the language barrier. Or maybe the people refused to talk about the incident.
