Kirk Stephenson: Olivant’s CEO Kirk Stephenson died

Kirk Stephenson, 47, CEO of Olivant, may have committed suicide by throwing himself in the path of a commuter train on Thursday, September 25. Stephenson died near Taplow station in Buckinghamshire.

Kirk Stephenson was married and had a child. Stephenson was a wealthy financier who was rumored to be worried about the present global banking crisis. With Stephenson’s death, there was bound to be speculation about Olivant. Stephenson set up Olivant in rather recent times in 2006. In 2008, it was one of the potential bidders for Northern Rock, of U.K. Stephenson owned a house in Chelsea which was worth around £3.6 million and another in West Country. Mr. Stephenson’s family prepared a press release statement. They described Mr. Kirk Stephenson as selfless person who put others before himself. Stephenson was a good father and husband. He was also a good friend.
