Kirk Maxey used to donate sperm from 1980 to 1994. Over 14 years, Kirk Maxey donated sperm twice a week. Maxey may have donated sperm 1456 times. Maxey said that based on his records and estimations, he may have fathered at least 400 children.

Kirk Maxey said that back in the day, there was no or little concern about the implications from a prolific sperm donor impacting the children. Maxey said he has become concerned over the large number of possible children fathered by his perm and the possibilities of inheriting his genetic weaknesses.

Maxey has made his genome available for legitimate seekers of that information. Maxey volunteered his free time to run a group that helps trace children fathered by donated sperm.

Kirk Maxey, is the present CEO of Cayman Chemical, a drug company that has a 300 strong staff.
