Bruce Richards’ daughter had just graduated. Richards’ home was hosting a graduation party on Saturday night, June 27. It was Sunday, June 28, at around 1 am that Richards suddenly fired his gun in his front yard. Police and SWAT were called.

It was their second call and arrival at the party. On the first call, the teen’s uncle was arrested. On the second call, the teen’s father was arrested.

Kim Richards said her father was drunk and the police over reacted. Ms Richards said the police ruined her graduation party. Police removed two firearms from the party.
