Kevin Provencher used to be a sports writer at the New Hampshire Union Leader. It appeared he may have used prostitution to moonlight for extra income. Provencher is accused of running a hooker ring in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and his call girl ring is suspected of being operational in Canada.

Provencher allegedly advertised his call girls in Craigslist and other online websites. Provencher allegedly rented rooms for his hookers to use.

Provencher was arrested an dcharged on Wednesday, July 29. Provencher pleaded not guilty to the charges that he had support from prostitution. Provencher has been jailed pending his $10,000 cash bail.
