Kevin Pravia, 19, of Pace University, was discovered strangled dead with an electrical cord.

Kevin Pravia was from Pittsfield, Massachusetts but he lived in Chelsea, Manhattan. Kevin Pravia was a sophomore at Pace University. The coroner will investigate on cause of death.

Police have apprehended a suspect. They cannot release the name because the suspect has not been charged for the crime. The suspect told police Kevin Pravia invited him back to his apartment. He strangled Pravia with a pillow. He stole Pravia’s cell phone, lap top and iPod. Police are still investigating.
