Kevin Matthews, of WLAV-FM 96.9, had a short break after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). Kevin Matthews will continue working while being treated for multiple sclerosis.

Kevin Matthews had experienced muscle aches and difficulties before he decided to take 2 weeks’ leave to undergo medical tests in Chicago. Matthews revealed his condition on air. Matthews said he “can live with this.” He and his wife, Deb Menear, are prepared to battle multiple sclerosis. Kevin Matthews plans to continue working and be on air as much as possible.
