Kerry Katona was arrested for assault. Kerry Katona has been accused of committing criminal damage and offending the public order. Katona had a quarrel with her accountant, David McHugh, at his office in Hawthorne Business Park.

Katona was upset with the accounts and blamed McHugh for her lack of money.

Katona was released on bail on Thursday, Aug 27. Katona will be due back n court on Oct 12.

Katona was accused of making a scene at David McHugh’s office. Katona allegedly punched McHugh and threw a cup of tea over him.

    I used to work at Touchstone, McHugh’s accountancy (alleged) firm, and I lasted one month before resigning due to all shenagins I discovered going on there

    Another matter which dismayed me was that McHugh was disqulaified from being a company director for a number of years. This disqualifications order ran concurrently with his time in prison. Where is the sense in that. I think that the law should be changed

    Any good at maths Kerry? Solve this formula: KK-money+being hoodwinked=(Father of her child+McHugh)+money. Here’s a clue: “I’ve been totally ripped off and treated like a mushroom”.

    After hearing the news about Kerry K thunping her accountant David McHugh for allegidly losing a lot of her money alarm bells started to ring, a certain name was more than familiar and things started to suddenly make sense after more google searches and reading more.

    We used Touchstone Legal / Accountants at Hawthorne Business Park and McHugh took over £10,000 from us…FOR DOING NOTHING. We had to pay him as he threatened all sorts and everything to do with our business that he said he had ‘done’ and resolved on on behalf came back to haunt us as he’d done nothing and paid no-one !!!

    He destroyed ALL the important paperwork we forwarded onto him (at his request) and he left us in such a bad financial and legal mess that our business finished up going bust and we were left with masses of personal debts. He told officials that he had never heard of our company and had never been our representative or accountant !!

    It is only now that we find out that he was a convicted fraudster who was jailed for a long time for a multimilion £ fraud in Orkney which took the police years to investigate. To make it worse according to many other reports is NOT even an accountant and he/his companies are under investigation from the FSA and other bodies for using their logos illegally. These two businesses and apparently many others are ALL in his wife Maureen McHugh’s name (who was also named as part of the fraud although never jailed.

    So all in all I think Kerry Katona was justified in thumping the robbing ba****d and lessons should be learned. Not everyone is what they seem even if they sound like they are !!!!!

    But the people we are as equally anoyed with are the likes of Companies House for ALLOWING people like them to set up new businesses willy-nilly, expecially of a similar nature) and CON people out of their hard earned money !!!!
