Kerby Revelus, 23, killed his two younger sisters on Saturday, March 28. Revelus had a fist fight Friday, March 27, and that led to his killing of his sisters Bianca Revelus, 5, and Samantha “Princess” Revelus, 17.

Police did not know exactly what happened during the fist fight or how it precipitated into the fatal stabbings.

Saraphina Revelus, 9, called police. As the officers broke into a room on the second floor of the home, they saw Kerby Revelus slash the neck of Bianca Revelus. Kerby then used his knife to stab at Saraphina. Police fatally shot him. According to the press, police saved Saraphina’s life by shooting Kerby Revelus.

The Saturday was Bianca Revelus’ birthday. Her birthday cake was still in the kitchen when the fatal stabbings occurred. Kerby Revelus was described as having used his knife to slash Bianca’s neck and he decapitated her.

Kerby Revelus came from Haiti in 1985. A neighbor, Abdul Kamara, recalled seeing Revelus normal and sometimes, he was confused. Revelus’ cousins, Romy Dorvil and Joey Dorvil did not have much to say about the situation.

Samantha Revelus had written a poem entitled “Acquaintance”. Ms Revelus had been rehearsing her poem as she meant to do a poetry reading at a poetry jam on Thursday night, April 2.
