Keoni Kai Lucas, a professional cameraman for Hell’s Kitchen, died when his car crashed into a tree on March 29, 2008. Keoni Kai Lucas fell asleep at the wheel when the accident happened in Santa Monica, CA. A memorial service was held for Keoni Kai Lucas in his native homeland.
Keoni Kai Lucas’ friends said that he touched their lives. He was the son of Jimmy Lucas, a surfer in Kauai. Keoni Kai Lucas was a founder of PUINSAI clothing Co. He was hardworking and the circumstances of the accident reflected on how tired he was to have fallen asleep at the wheel.
Keoni Kai Lucas’ friends said that all who knew him were touched by him. They have commented that he was now at a better place.
The Keoni Kai Lucas memorial service was held on April 20, 2008. About 150 people attended.
Tuesday, April 29, 2008, night’s episode of Hell’s Kitchen was dedicated to Keoni Kai Lucas.
