Updated August 28 2009 – Kenley Collins said jail inspired her to work harder. Collins will try to make a splash with her spring 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week. Collins said she was over Penley and hoped to sell her reality TV show footage to a network.

Collins revealed she was serious about her fashion brand as she declined to be the star for a few dating shows that were offered to her on silver platters.

Kenley Collins, a finalist in the fashion show Project Runway season 5, was arrested. Collins was arrested for alleged assaults on her fiancé Zak Penley. Collins was accused of hitting Penley with her cat, computer, a door, water and 3 apples.

Kenley Collins told NYP that it was all a mis-communication. The fight broke out when Penley was rudely awakened by Collins throwing her cat on him. Collins meant it was no big deal as fights happen. Collins was not remorseful. Collins said it could have been a lot worse.

Kenley Collins was arrested and booked into the jail in Brooklyn. Later, Collins was released but no bail was required.
