Bank of America chief executive officer Kenneth Lewis talked on CBS’ “60 Minutes.” Ken Lewis discussed about the meeting with Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. The video of Kenneth Lewis explaining what happened is here.

Lewis said that that the Bank of America was partially owned by the Unites States of America. The deal was the deal that the nine largest banks of America had to accept. Ken Lewis admitted that although Bank of America did not need the $25 billion, it accepted the offer to use the money to grow loans and do business with it. Ken Lewis agreed with Henry Paulson’s idea.
