Kellen Winslow staphylococcus: Romeo Crennel is angry
By Therese Lisieux on October 26th, 2008Kellen Winslow had staph. Browns coach Romeo Crennel said Kellen Winslow was hospitalized for staphylococcus infection.
Staph or staphylococcus is the spherical Gram-positive parasitic bacteria that tend to form irregular colonies. Some types of Staph cause boils or septicemia or infections.
Initially, the Browns had tried to keep Winslow’s illness a secret. Kellen Winslow was dissatisfied that his General Manager, Phil Savage, did not make efforts to visit him in hospital or enquire after him when he returned to the team. On Sunday, Kellen Winslow revealed he had staph. On Sun., Winslow decided the Browns team should be exposed for their repeated occurrences of staph. (Winslow could have been unhappy over Crennel and Savage) It was a complicated issue here.
