Keishla Villafane Rivera, Miss Puerto Rico Petite 2008, has been dethroned. Keishla Villafane Rivera lost her beauty title Friday, June 19. Luis Santiago Productions, the organizers of Miss Puerto Rico Petite, accused Rivera of being intolerable. The beauty pageant organizers accused Villafane Rivera of committing threats and assaults on their pageant staff.

Villafane Rivera violated the terms of her beauty queen contract by allowing her image to be used in an advertisement without seeking permission first. Villafane Rivera allegedly made death threats against the staff and assaulted them. The company is going to file a lawsuit against Villafane Rivera.

Tamara Perez, another contestant from 2008’s Miss Puerto Rico Petite beauty contest, has been appointed to serve the remainder of Villafane’s term until the next beauty queen is crowned. Villafone’s term is supposed to expire on Aug 26.
