Updated May 11 2009 – Katy Tur has a new job. Ms Tur is a Digital Journalist at The Weather Channel. Tur joins Vortex2 host Mike Bettes on the program to discover more about tornadoes.

Keith Olbermann has denied pulling strings for Tur to get her new job. Olbermann suggested Tur landed her new job based on her talent alone. After all, Tur’s father is the great helicopter journalist, Bob Tur. Mr Tur reported while chasing news in a helicopter.

Katy Tur, 24, is the girlfriend of Keith Olbermann, 49. Katy Tur confessed somewhere that she did not attend journalism school but she has a new reporter job.  The gossips buzz that Katy Tur got her big break because of her boyfriend, Keith Olbermann.
