Katrina Lee was a contestant on X Factor 5 years ago when she faced some harsh criticism from Simon Cowell, one of the judges. Katrina Lee, 23, heard Cowell sounding her off on her looks. Cowell said he wished Lee had another body. This made Lee think that she could have a chance at X Factor if only she looked different. Lee was 18 and quite impressionable so Cowell made a large impact on her.

Lee said that she confronted Cowell about his negative and harsh criticism. Cowell barely realized the impact of his words that left his mouth.

Lee was upset and had a major makeover. Lee underwent laser surgery, dental work done to improve her smile and liposuction to tone her face.

Katrina Lee spent thousands on her looks because she wanted to have another chance at the X Factor auditions. Lee entered the auditions again in 2009. For this special occasion, Lee dyed her hair red to bring an element of shock and showbiz into her former plain looks.

Katrina said before she changed her looks, she fought an eating disorder. Consequently, Lee had a low self esteem and affected her confidence.

This second time around, Lee is determined to rewrite history and make Cowell eat his words. Katrina Lee looks very different after her plastic surgery.
