Karla Homolka, serving time for murder, has a boyfriend in prison. He is Jean Paul Gerbet. Homolka and Gerbet are doing prison time in Montreal, Canada. Gerbet met Homolka in 2001 when they were both working in the prison library.

Jean Paul Gerbet has appealed for parole but was rejected. The National Parole Board refused parole to Gerbet as they deemed him unsuitable. Gerbet allegedly was not honest about his past murder of his girlfriend. The parole board also did not like Gerbet’s relationship with Homolka.
