Karinna Moskalenko, a human rights lawyer originally from Russia, revealed that her husband found a substance hidden under her car seat. The large quantity of material looked like Mercury. Moskalenko lives in Strasbourg, France.

The first lab report tested it to be mercury but the suspicious substance has been sent for more tests. Karinna Moskalenko was expected to fly into Russia but she has been sidetracked. Moskalenko and her family are undergoing tests in hospital top determine if their health have been affected. Previously, they had experienced severe headaches, giddiness and nausea. In Moscow, the trial of three men accused of murdering Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya started.
