Kari Heath, 20, of Strum, was charged with identity theft. Heath was charged on Tuesday, March 3. Heath posted her ex boyfriend’s profile on Craigslist under the section called “Casual Encounters”.

Heath claimed she was unaware it was illegal to post her ex boyfriend’s particulars online. Heath said she was frustrated with their relationship when she did that. Heath’s former boyfriend received a call from a man who saw the ad and he was informed of the Craigslist posting. The ex boyfriend reported this to Altoona Police.
