Karen Edwards was killed on June 1, 1989. Edwards was a lawyer from Florida who went to Boston on June 1, 1989. Edwards may have been fatally stabbed in a robbery as it was known her assailant took $200. The case went cold as no suspects were arrested.

Edwards’ friends have contacted Boston authorities to inquire about the case of Karen Edwards. Her case bore some resemblance to the killing of Julissa Brisman on April 14. It has been 20 years but the police are still diligently working on old cases. Boston police said they are investigating several new leads in the murder of Karen Edwards.
