Paula Abdul went on The View on the morning of Dec. 8. Abdul talked about Paula Godspeed, a fan, who committed suicide in her car parked outside Abdul’s home on Nov. 11. Abdul told her side of the story of how Godspeed stalked her for 17 years. Godspeed had tried to commit suicide in her car in front of Abdul’s home in New York but she was saved when she was seen in the back seat of her car. That was a few months ago before Nov. 11.

Paula Abdul spoke about Kara DioGuardi and laughed off rumors that Simon Cowell hired DioGuardi to replace her on American Idol. Abdul related the story of how she met DioGuardi and invited her to live in her home in L.A.

At one of their earlier meetings, Abdul and DioGuardi collaborated on a song, and wrote it out on a napkin. The song was eventually used for Kylie Minogue. Abdul said DioGuardi was one of her best room mates, except for the time Whoopi Goldberg was her best room mate.

Abdul introduced her costume jewelry line and mentioned the affordable prices. Abdul pointed out her sister sitting in the audience. Barbara Walters invited her to sit with them on the sofa. Everyone in the audience was getting a free gift from Abdul. Abdul gave away her wound around wrist bangles to every member of the audience.
