Pollards in a scirmish with the Rb, and then decides to dive for brady. He has no chance from that position to tackle brady above the waist, or even tackled the grey zone (the but and upper thighs. It´s a dirty hit by the definition of the rules. The extenuating circumstances is ofcourse valid, he is in the a scirmish, but that does´nt change the fact that he tackled brady below the waist, or even had a chance to make a legitimate tackle, wich is what makes the hit dirty, otherwise its just against the rules.
