Jennifer Ertman, 16, and her friend Elizabeth Pena, 16, were caught by Jose Medellin, 18, in June 24, 1993. Jose Medellin assaulted them in various ways and hen killed them. Today, on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, Jose Medellin, 33, awaits his execution at 2300 GMT in Texas.

Jose Medellin was executed at the previously appointed time, in Texas.

Jose Medellin’s last words were that he hoped his death would bring closure to an episode. He asked the people not to harbor hate.
