July 29 – Julie A Corey, 35, and a man, Alex Dion, 27, were found with the stolen baby of Darlene Haynes. Corey and company were found in New Hampshire. Corey claimed she gave birth to a baby on Wed night or Thursday morning.

Corey was found in a shelter for homeless people. Staff at the shelter became suspicious when Corey showed no signs of having given birth and couldn’t breastfeed the baby.

Darlene Haynes’ boyfriend, Roberto Rodriguez, said he was upset over Haynes’ death. Police have records of their troubled relationship. On June 24, 2009, Rodriguez was charged with assault, battery and intimidation on Haynes. In 2008, Rodriguez was charged with assaulting Haynes.

Darlene Haynes, of Massachusetts, was killed and her body was hidden in her closet at home. Haynes was 8 months pregnant when she was murdered. An autopsy revealed that her baby/ fetus was missing.

Darlene Haynes rented an apartment in Worchester, New England, Massachusetts. Haynes’ landlord received a complaint about a strong smell coming from her apartment and he went to check on Monday, July 27. The landlord found Haynes wrapped in bedding inside the closet.

The coroner determined that Haynes, 23, was killed and her fetus was removed. Haynes’ baby could have survived but would have needed medical help.
