Julie M Carr, 30, of Mars Hill, Maine, was arrested on Friday, June 12. Carr had 4 children, ranging from 18 months to 5 years old. The kids were taken into the protective custody of the State.

Carr’s arrest stemmed from England. A man in West Midlands, England, shared internet material of children that were inappropriate. The video in question allegedly showed Carr sexually assaulting a child. The man has been arrested. British Police worked throughout Thursday night until Friday to trace Carr.

Carr was suspected of performing gross sexual assault and felony exploitation of a child. Carr was charged accordingly. Carr failed to enter a plea. Each charge carries a maximum of 20 years in prison. If convicted on both charges, Carr may face up to 40 years in prison.

The video that showed a child being sexually touched. The woman in the video has been identified as Carr.

If the charges are true, the mother will be convicted of sexually exploiting her own children.
