Julie Amero was a teacher whose computer showed pornographic pop-ups when her students were viewing her computer. Julie Amero was charged with many counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Julie Amero protested that she was innocent but her jury did not believe her. Forensic evidence said that the porn pop-ups were caused by malware without any improper action from the user of the computer. Julie Amero’s supporters are asking Connecticut prosecutors to dismiss all charges against Julie Amero. It is common to get pop-ups without any action from the user.
