On Tue night’s Dancing with the Stars, Cody Linley updated everyone on Julianne Hough. Hough had a successful operation and was resting to recover at home.

Julianne Hough blogged about her surgery. Hough’s surgeons performed her operation laparoscopically through her belly button to avoid giving her a long scar. Hough said she would not be dancing for 2 weeks. Hough revealed that her mother and sister have had Endometriosis and had their operations done too

Julianne Hough, the professional dancer who partners Cody Linley, has Endometriosis. Endometriosis happens when uterine tissue grows on the surface of an organ. Endometriosis is a common condition which is found in 2 – 5 % of women of reproductive age. Julianne Hough is expected to undergo the routine surgery and recover fully.

Julianne Hough had experienced stomach pains on last week’s Dancing with the Stars. Hough has braved this week’s show. Hough had consulted with her doctor and chosen her course of treatment. Hough will undergo minor surgery to address the cause of her problem, which was her appendix. Hough’s surgery involved the removal of her appendix.

If Julianne Hough has a smooth operation and nothing complicates matters, she will recover after 4 -5 days. Julianne Hough’s surgery was scheduled for Mon. night right after her dances in Dancing with the Star.
