Regis Philbin’s son Dan Philbin is broke and his father refused to help him. Dan Philbin is a double amputee and ekes out a living selling crafts. Dan Philbin is Regis’ son from his first marriage. Dan had a spinal cord defect which led to his double amputation of his legs. Dan Philbin is confined to his wheelchair.

Dan Philbin had a job at the Pentagon 3 years back. Philbin quit and has been struggling to make ends meet. Dan Philbin’s wife, Judy Philbin, decided to sell out their story to the National Enquirer, to appeal to her famous father-in-law, Regis Philbin. Judy Philbin revealed they borrowed money to buy food and could not come up with rental to pay $70 for a booth to sell Dan’s handmade crafts. According to Judy Philbin, Dan was afraid to ask his Daddy for help.
