Josie Ho, Convoy Chan, Song Juan: Ho angry over Chan & Song Juan
By Clarencia Cynrae on June 13th, 2009Josie Ho allegedly threw out her husband, Conroy Chan Chi-Chung. Ms Ho is the daughter of Stanley Ho, Hong Kong’s casino king. Mr Ho has been nicknamed “The King of Gambling” as he owns a famous casino in Hong Kong.
On June 2, Conroy Chan posted online a picture of himself with a model named Song Juan, of Jiangsu, in China. Chan was shirtless and Song Juan was in her bikini. Chan posted the photo in his Facebook page.
The entertainment media in Hong Kong published screen shots of Chan’s cell phone, which showed he sent suggestive messages to someone named Lil Girl. Reporters approached Josie Ho and alerted her to her husband’s photo and alleged text messages. Initially, Ms Ho defended her husband. Ho’s mood grew serious and angry.
Song Juan is one of the actresses in the new movie, Dream Home. Josie Ho acted and produced in Dream Home. Convoy Chan also worked on the set of Dream Home.
The said photo was allegedly taken during a post production party for Dream Home.
Chan claimed he misunderstood the text sent in Chinese language. Chan had replied in English.
On June 3, a cameraman snapped a photo of Conroy Chan leaving the home he shared with his wife, Josie Ho. It was at 3 am and Chan carried 3 bags out with him. Chan hailed a taxi and left to crash at a friend’s pad. Chan left for New York to escape the heat of the reporters but returned to Hong Kong on June 9.
Conroy Chan has not commented publicly on the state of his marriage with Josie Ho. Mr Stanley Ho denied knowing anything about the controversy. Mr Ho said he needed to investigate further.
