The suspected murderer of the Applebees manager in Roanoke Rapids has been arrested. Joshua Rouse, a worker at Applebees in Roanoke Rapids, was arrested on Thursday, June 18. Rouse is a suspect in the killing of Sandy Riedel, a restaurant manager of Applebees.
Riedel was found killed at the Applebees restaurant on Monday, June 15. Police said they have evidence in the surveillance tapes. Rouse was a former convict who served time for attempted armed robbery and assault. Rouse was released in May 2008.
