Updated May 6 2009 – Happy, happy news! Joshua Childers was found alive some 3 miles away from his mobile home. Childers was found sometime on Wednesday, May 6, about 50 hours after he went missing. Childers was sent to hospital for checks. Other details on the state of his health were not reported.

What happened to Joshua Childers ? Joshua Childers, 3 years old, is missing. Childers disappeared from his home at 11:30 am Monday, May 4. Childers lived with his mother in a mobile home in the Mark Twain National Forest about 100 miles southwest of St. Louis, Missouri.

Childers was watched by his mother who was distracted for a while and he disappeared. On Monday evening, a searcher found one of Childers’ shoes about 1 mile away from his home.
