Joshua Brandon Norris shot Rashad Johnson 3 times in his leg. Norris and Johnson were at a Halloween party at a club in Atlanta in 2007. Norris and Johnson had an exchange of words before Norris shot johnson.

Norris and Johnson were both students of Morehouse College in Atlanta when the shooting took place. Norris pleaded no contest to the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Norris received six years of probation, a $1,000 fine and 240 hours of community service. Norris was allowed to return to College to graduate.
