May 9 2009 – Rev Run’s son, Joseph Simmons Jr, was arrested on May 8. Joseph Simmons Jr, 19, was arrested for possession of weed. Simmons Jr is nicknamed JoJo on the family show.

Simmons was spotted buying marijuana and rolling a joint while he was seated in a car parked long Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Simmons tried to resist arrest by reversing his car and trying to drive away. He almost backed into the police’s squad car.

Simmons was charged for criminal use of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and attempted reckless endangerment.
