Joseph Lyle Menendez and brother Erik Galen Menendez were convicted for killing their parents Jose and Kitty Menendez, in Beverly Hills, California. The Menendez brothers fatally shot their parents in 1989.

Joseph was the older brother born on January 10, 1968. Erik was younger, being born on November 27, 1971. The Menendez brothers allegedly killed their parents to get their money.After the trial, the Menendez brothers were found guilty and sentenced.

Joseph Lyle Menendez and brother Erik Galen Menendez are presently serving out their life sentences.
