Joshua D Hagerman died Tuesday Feb 24. Hagerman, 5, was murdered by his father, Joseph Hagerman III, 33. Hagerman not only killed his son but decapitated him inside their home in Sugar Creek Drive, Virginia.

Joshua Hagerman’s death was reported by his mother, Shirley Ruffy Hagerman. Shirley Ruffy suffered serious wounds to her hands during Hagerman’s attack on their son. Joseph Hagerman III was caught while running away on the road.

Joseph Hagerman III was interviewed and he claimed he killed his son to save him from the Antichrist. Hagerman was on medication for schizophrenia when Joshua was killed. Hagerman is now treated at Central State Hospital in Petersburg.
