Joseph “Joey” Larracey, died after football

Joseph “Joey” Larracey, 16, a lineman for Holliston High School, in Lakeville, Massachusetts, died. Joseph Larracey died after being struck in his chest during a scrimmage playing at Apponequet Regional High School.

Joseph Larracey’s uncle, Tom Larracey, told the press that Joseph complained of being dizzy after the play on Friday, Sept 5. Joseph Larracey fainted and regained consciousness and he was immediately sent to hospital. The doctors found fluid in his lungs. Joseph Larracey passed away on Friday. Bradford L. Jackson made a public statement announcing Joseph Larracey’s death and expressed sorrow at his passing. Grief counselors will be available in schools to help mourners deal with the bereavement.
