Deutsche Bank’s big boss, Josef Ackermann, announced he was giving up his annual bonus so that his staff would get their bonuses. Three other senior board members will walk in the footsteps of Josef Ackermann. Ackermann is giving up a few million euros.

Ackermann wants to tell his staff that he is in unity with them in the face of the financial crisis. The German Deutsche Bank said it would not need to ask for state aid as their capital structure was every strong.
