Jorge Miguel Romero, 38, drove a big rig truck that slammed into a minivan and killed 3 siblings. Emma Coble, 4, Katie Coble, 2, and Kyle Coble, 5, were killed on May 4 on Interstate 5 in Mission Viejo, Los Angeles.

Jorge Miguel Romero pleaded no contest to the three charges of vehicular manslaughter with criminal negligence. Jorge Miguel Romero was accused of driving at an unsafe speed when his tractor-trailer hit the minivan. The kids’ mother, Lori Coble, 30, and grandmother, Cynthia Maestri, 60, were seriously injured and needed hospitalization. Jorge Miguel Romero was un-injured in the crash. Jorge Miguel Romero has been convicted and will be sentenced on Nov. 14.
