Visa said a technical glitch caused the error.
Josh Muszynski, of New Hampshire, was also charged 23 quadrillion dollars after buying a packet of cigarettes. Muszynski was charged $23,148,855,308,184,500. This reads as twenty-three quadrillion, one hundred forty-eight trillion, eight hundred fifty-five billion, three hundred eight million, one hundred eighty-four thousand, five hundred dollars.
Can you imagine the banks and Visa actually could send out statements like that? Most letters or online bank statements are auto generated so customers are the first to spot the mistakes.
