John Schnatter, the founder of Papa John International Inc, sold his car, a 1971 Z28 Camaro in 1983. Schnatter needed the money for capital to establish Papa John. In 2009, about 25 years later, Schnatter offered a $250,000 reward to get his former car back.

John Schnatter paid Jeff Robinson, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, $250,000 for his old Camaro. Schnatter also gave $25,000 to the tipster.

John Schnatter said he owed his success to his old Camaro.
