Melanie Oudin’s father, John Oudin, has filed for divorce from her mother, Leslie Oudin. John Oudin has wanted to divorce Leslie Oudin since July 24, 2008.

Melanie Oudin has two other sisters.

John Oudin has accused his estranged wife, Leslie Oudin, of cheating on him. Mrs Oudin allegedly had an affair with Brian de Villiers, Melane’s coach. As early as Dec 29, 2007, Mr Oudin asked Leslie about her alleged relationship with de Villiers. Leslie admitted it. Mr Oudin said he also asked de Villiers if he was having an affair with Leslie and he admitted it.

Brian de Villiers, 51, has been Melanie Oudin’s tennis coach since she was 9 years old. De Villiers has been coaching for over 30 years. De Villiers was named by the US Olympic Committee as the Developmental Coach of the Year.

Both the Oudin family and de Villiers have refused to talk to the press. The Oudins are still going through divorce proceedings. The Oudins have a mediation hearing on December 7.
